EDPMA as an association is the place to connect with people you don’t know in our field – to understand the relationships in this huge ecosystem that is emergency medicine.

There isn’t a week that goes by that there’s not some work being done for our field by EDPMA. Because its membership is organization-based and not individual-based, if somebody joins, their entire workforce has access to all of EDPMA’s tools and resources.
There isn’t another organization that takes both the clinical perspective and that of supporting vendors and partner organizations. With that comes the strength of data. EDPMA does a fantastic job of taking all points of view on behalf of the patient, fueled by data, and bringing it to the Hill on behalf of our patients.
EDPMA is always at the forefront of any issue that emergency medicine is facing. We are comprised of industry leaders and experts, emergency medicine groups and vendor that assist the business of emergency medicine.
From an educational standpoint, EDPMA membership is valuable in that members are able to use our vast knowledge to hone in on what the regulations, the new processes and the new laws are, and then diving in and finding solutions.
There are so many resources that EDPMA provides aside from the advocacy and education component. It’s very critical for us to understand what the different ideas are that are facing groups, and bringing all of those parties together throughout the year is what really moves the needle.
In our business, sometimes the road map is super clear; other times there is space for interpretation. When you join any EDPMA, whether it’s through committee work or through Solution Summits, the RCM Workshop or webinars, you can validate that you have made the right decision and that you have set up the right operations or programs.
