About EDPMA

The Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) is the nation’s only professional physician trade association focused on the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care in the emergency department.

EDPMA’s membership includes emergency medicine physician groups of all sizes and ownership models, as well as billing, coding, and other professional support organizations that assist healthcare providers in our nation’s emergency departments. An important tenet of EDPMA’s governance structure is that every Board member receives one vote, irrespective of the size or member category of the organization they represent.

From advocacy to education, EDPMA provides unmatched access to decision makers, monitors federal and state activity, educates on best practices, and keeps you up-to-date on the key issues and services affecting your business and your bottom line.

Governance

EDPMA is an association incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is governed by an elected Board of Directors pursuant to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. In addition, EDPMA’s Board of Directors has identified formal policies that govern the dynamics of the national association.
