Why refer?
Referrals are one of the most meaningful ways to grow EDPMA, because they come from trusted relationships. When you recommend EDPMA to a peer, a client, or a business partner, you help bring in members who are already aligned with the values and work of this community.
How it works
Use the steps below as your quick roadmap. The process is designed to take only a few minutes on your end.
- A completed membership purchase by a new company, OR
- A corporate partnership commitment of $7,500 or more
Referral year tracking: RCM Workshop to Solutions Summit for the first year (2026–2027), then Solutions Summit to RCM Workshop going forward.
Recognition and prizes
Every qualifying referral helps strengthen EDPMA and will be celebrated. Top referring members will receive additional recognition and featured visibility across EDPMA channels.
All qualifying referrals receive
- Recognition during the Awards Ceremony at Solutions Summit
- Branding recognition onsite at Solutions Summit (referring company logos)
- Eligibility for Top Referrer recognition
Top 3 referring members will be interviewed at Solutions Summit for posting on EDPMA social channels.
Prize levels
- Free Solutions Summit registration (following year)
- On-stage recognition with plaque at Solutions Summit
- Featured Member Spotlight (newsletter + website + social)
- 50% off Solutions Summit or RCM Workshop registration
- Public recognition (social + website)
- Certificate of recognition
Tiebreaker: Total dollar value of memberships and sponsorships generated through referrals.

Not sure where to start? The most successful referrals usually come from existing working relationships: clients, vendors, partners, and peer organizations that already collaborate with your team.
- Identify billing companies and business partners in your network.
- Review your partner list and consider who benefits from EDPMA education, policy updates, and toolkits.
- Reach out to organizations not yet involved with EDPMA.
- Connect potential sponsors to event opportunities and partnership options.
- Make a simple introduction and let the EDPMA team handle the follow-up and next steps.
