As EDPMA celebrates its 30th Anniversary, the Conference Planning Committee invites innovative thinkers, experienced practitioners, and emerging leaders to help shape Solutions Summit 2027. We are looking for proposals that challenge thinking, share lessons learned, and help attendees solve real-world challenges across the business of emergency medicine.
The Solutions Summit curriculum will focus on experienced and rising attendees on how to best navigate real-world issues – and solutions – facing the business of emergency medicine. Learn more about EDPMA, our advocacy and our educational offerings.
Solutions Summit brings together physician executives, practice administrators, revenue cycle and coding leaders, operations and finance professionals, government affairs and advocacy leaders, technology innovators, and emerging leaders from across the emergency medicine ecosystem.

Call for Solutions:
As the conference for the trade association for emergency medicine, EDPMA’s Solutions Summit does not accept presentations on clinical topics. Our educational content focuses on the business of emergency medicine, and we welcome presentation submissions that are solutions oriented.
What Makes a Strong Submission?
The most competitive proposals solve a real problem — not simply describe one — and give attendees something practical to take home. Ask yourself the Monday Morning Test: What will attendees be able to do differently after your session? Strong submissions include a tool, framework, checklist, workflow, or resource attendees can apply immediately.
National speaking experience is not required. Practical expertise and attendee value matter most. First-time presenters are encouraged to apply.

Proposals aligned with a featured format will be more competitive.
- Cheat Code | 40 min. — Solo or duo presentation with actionable, immediately applicable takeaways. Do you have a practical solution people can use right away?
- Reverse Engineering the Outcome | 40 min. — Case study or post-mortem walking through how a result was achieved. Did you achieve a result others would like to replicate?
- Solution Circle | 45 min. — Facilitated, small-group discussion with focused presenter(s) perspectives and audience participation around a shared challenge, solution, or emerging issue. Would attendees benefit from practical examples, guided discussion, and peer exchange?
- Cross-Functional Case Lab | 45 min. — Multi-stakeholder panel or collaborative session. Does your solution involve multiple departments or organizations working together?
- Futures Lab | 45 min. — Forward-looking session on trends, policy changes, or emerging challenges. Will this help leaders prepare for what is coming next?
- Rapid Insight | 35 min. — Tight, focused session on one powerful idea, tool, or lesson. Can you teach one valuable lesson or innovation in a concise, focused format?
Additional Considerations
- Non-selected proposals may still be considered for webinars, workshops, Toolbox resources, or other member engagement opportunities
- Sessions must remain educational and practical — not product demos or sales presentations
- The committee may pair selected speakers with moderators, coaches, or complementary presenters
