What is EDPMA Doing to Keep You Safe?

The health and safety of all attendees is our top priority. Given the realities and rapid changes associated with COVID-19, EDPMA will adhere to all safety measures and protocols in accordance with best practices, including CDC and local guidelines in place at the start of the Solutions Summit, September 26, 2021.

Although EDPMA is taking many precautions to protect your health, attendees also must take certain actions to protect the health of others. So, EDPMA is requiring all Solutions Summit 2021 in-person attendees, including speakers and exhibitors, to agree in writing that they will comply with the Attendee Code of Conduct for the 2021 EDPMA Solutions Summit. At the registration table, registrants will be asked to sign a document agreeing to abide by the Code of Conduct. Those who do not sign will not be allowed to participate in any in-person components of the Solutions Summit being held September 2021 at the Omni Fort Worth, Texas. Please note, as the COVID-19 environment changes and CDC guidelines change, this Code of Conduct may be revised accordingly.

Among other things, attendees must agree to wear masks while inside public areas unless eating or drinking.  They also agree not to attend in person if they are not feeling well or are experiencing COVID symptoms. Moreover, one of the following must be true in order to attend the Summit in person:

(a) the Attendee is fully vaccinated,

(b) the Attendee received a negative test result on a COVID-19 test administered less than 72 hours prior to the Solutions Summit, or

(c) the Attendee received a positive test result on a COVID-19 antibody test administered less than 72 hours prior to the Solutions Summit.

Please read the full Code of Conduct carefully. It is linked here and can be found on the Solutions Summit website under “Policies.”

In addition to the Code of Conduct, the host hotel, Omni Fort Worth, is following “Stay a Part of Safety” to ensure your safety and is distributing sanitizing stations around the common areas of the property. And EDPMA has planned seating to be spread 3 feet apart to allow for social distancing.

We hope these policies give you the assurances you need to attend the Solutions Summit in person. However, if you choose to stay home, EDPMA is planning on recording most of the educational sessions and making those recordings available to all registrants soon after the Summit.
