Steven Kailes, M.D., MPH, FACEP, FAAEM

Steve is an emergency physician and Director of Quality & Safety with Emergency Resources Group in Jacksonville, FL. He studied at UCLA and earned his MPH degree while studying medicine at Tufts University. He completed a Basic Surgery internship and Emergency Medicine residency at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego. He deployed to Okinawa, Japan, with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, was stationed at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and deployed to Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2005-06. He is a past-president of the Florida College of Emergency Physicians, serves on several committees with the American College of Emergency Physicians, and is currently vice-president of the Duval County Medical Society. He also completed the ACEP Reimbursement Fellowship.
