As EVP, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Wagner leads the Physician Advisor and Utilization Management service lines for Ensemble. He is responsible for clinical denial education and strategy as well as developing and executing payer strategies to prevent clinical denials. Dr. Wagner is also tasked with developing and executing a population health strategy that ensures clinical financial integration across all of Ensemble.
Dr. Wagner’s expertise in medical necessity compliance, hospital and physician practice operations, value-based reimbursement strategies, acute and physician revenue cycle, as well as physician leadership, are some of the key attributes he brings to this role.
