Juli Forde is a graduate of the University of Texas who partners with providers and health systems within the acute care continuum to assure their revenue is both optimal and compliant.
Over her career, Juli has been involved in numerous initiatives to assist the specialty of emergency medicine navigate the difficult waters of bad payer tactics, increased regulation, and unfunded mandates. She spearheaded the creation of a joint task force between the Emergency Department Practice Management Association and Urgent Care Association of America. She is passionate about advocating for those who deliver lifesaving care when it is needed most.
Her career in emergency medicine reimbursement began more than 20 years ago as a Practice Administrator for a large multi-site emergency physician group in North Texas. Juli was a founding member of Nicka and Associates, Inc.. As Senior Vice President of Operations, she provided direct assistance to physicians, practice leadership, and revenue cycle partners. Today, as the founder of Rev4ward, she provides organizations with the forward momentum they need to assure optimal revenue while mitigating compliance risks. Additionally, she serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships for Zoll Data Systems and speaks nationally on reimbursement and the patient financial experience.
She is a member of the American College of Emergency Physician’s Coding and Nomenclature Committee, a Co-Chair of the Emergency Department Practice Management Association’s Membership Committee and serves on the EDPMA Conference Planning Committee. Additional service includes tasks force work for the Urgent Care Association of America. She is uniquely situated to provide insight into the best practices in coding and compliance for emergency medicine, hospitalist, telemedicine, and urgent care sectors.
Juli was a faculty member for the inaugural National Association for Freestanding Emergency Centers conference and has been asked to return each year. She has also spoken previously at EDPMA’s Solution Summit and the American College of Emergency Medicine’s Scientific Assembly. Juli lives in McKinney, Texas with daughter’s Bethany and Abigail. Alongside her roles in revenue cycle management, she has served on the board of a therapeutic riding association partnering with disabled children and as a volunteer judge and business coach for students participating in DECA.
