Elizabeth Mundinger, Esq., was appointed Executive Director of the Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) in February 2013. She is an experienced government relations leader with substantial experience developing and implementing legislative and regulatory strategy. She spent nine years on Capitol Hill, primarily as a Democratic subcommittee staff director under Rep. Henry Waxman (DCA). She also led the government relations teams for two large nonprofit organizations, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Bread for the World. Most recently, she was Government Relations Counsel for Manatt, Phelps and Phillips in Washington, D.C, where she successfully lobbied Congressional and Administration decision makers on healthcare, financial, education, product safety, municipal, and environmental issues. Ms. Mundinger has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and a law degree from Columbia University.
