Attendee Code of Conduct

EDPMA Code of Conduct

EDPMA will require all in-person attendees (including speakers and exhibitors) at the 2023 Solutions Summit to agree, during the registration process, that they will comply with the EDPMA Code of Conduct included below. If a registrant will not agree to the Code of Conduct, they will not be allowed into the summit, exhibit area, or receptions. Please note that, as the COVID environment changes and CDC guidelines change, this Code of Conduct may change.

By attending the 2022 Solutions Summit in person, attendees agree to the following Code of Conduct:

  • Attendees will not attend in person if they feel ill or have symptoms of COVID (including cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, fatigue, chills, muscle aches, sudden headache, or loss of taste or smell).
  • Attendees will not attend in person unless one of the following is true:
    (a) the Attendee is fully vaccinated.
    (b) the Attendee received a negative test result on a COVID test administered less than 72 hours prior to the Summit, or
    (c) the Attendee received a positive test result on a COVID antibody test administered less than 72 hours prior to the Summit.
  • Attendees will adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance during travel to the Summit.
  • Attendees will comply with CDC, local, and hotel COVID guidance and policies, including wearing a mask at all times when indoors at the Summit, except when eating or drinking.
  • Attendees will respect other attendees’ green/yellow/red self-identification stickers on their nametags that identify the attendee’s comfort level with others approaching them.
  • Tables and seating in session rooms and meeting space are set with social distancing in mind. Attendees will not move furniture and seating in a way that will substantially impact the social distancing plan.
  • Attendees will follow guidance from the national and local health authority for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including:
    • Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol,
    • Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands, and
    • Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing and throwing used tissues in the trash.
  • Attendees will not harass other attendees or staff for any reason, including around disagreements over COVID.
  • Attendees will inform EDPMA staff (by reaching out to [email protected]) as soon as possible if, after attending the Summit in person, the attendee receives a positive COVID test within 14 days after the Summit ends.
  • Attendees assume the risk of being exposed to COVID or other illness at the Summit and all damages related to that exposure.
  • Attendees understand that this Code of Conduct may change as the COVID environment and CDC guidelines change.
