Dr. Bing Pao, M.D., FACEP attended the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where he graduated with highest distinction. He graduated from the Duke University school of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Pao completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of California – San Diego. During residency, Dr. Pao was the President of the California Emergency Residency Association. Dr. Pao continues to serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California – San Diego. Dr. Pao has been with Vituity since 1999 and is currently the Director of Provider Relations. Dr. Pao is a Board Certified emergency physician practicing at Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, California. He is also an Assistant Director of the Emergency Department. In 2005 and 2006 Dr. Pao was given the “Top Doc” Award by San Diego Magazine. Dr. Pao served on the Board of Directors for the California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and San Diego County Medical Society. He was the past chair for the California Medical Association Hospital Based Practice Forum. He also serves on the Reimbursement Committee for CAL/ACEP and ACEP. Dr. Pao was officer and currently on the Board for the Physician for Fair Coverage. Dr. Pao is currently on the Board for the Emergency Department Practice Management Association.
